How to enter a new or unrecognized address or parcel ID
When entering an address, if the address verification tool does not find a match for the address you’ve entered, first double check the address. If the address is correct but still isn’t being found by the address verification tool, be sure to put a checkmark in the box below the address bar indicating that you want to enter an alternate address.
EXAMPLE (Note that in the example below, the address verification tool does not find a match for the provided address):
When no match is found, check the box below the address bar indicating that you need to enter an alternate address or parcel ID. That will enable you to skip the verification tool and allow you to move forward by entering whatever location information you have available.
